Jenny Wager (Assistant Principal) and Cindy Brodie (Principal)

Our Principal, Mrs. Brodie

Principal Cindy Brodie has fifteen years of experience in education.  She began her career as a Fourth Grade Teacher at Harbour View Elementary School before becoming their Academic Coach and eventually Assistant Principal of Curriculum. She continued her career at Fessenden Elementary serving as Assistant Principal of Curriculum, then becoming Principal in December 2016.  Mrs. Brodie joined Stanton-Weirsdale Elementary as Principal in June of 2017.  She believes partnerships between students, families and school in lifelong learning are the foundation of student success in life.

Our Assistant Principal, Mrs. Wager

Assistant Principal Jenny Wager has nine years of experience in education.  Her career started as a Language Arts and Intensive Reading teacher at Fort King Middle.  In 2021 she became Student Services Manager at Reddick-Collier Elementary, before coming to Stanton-Weirsdale the fall of 2023 as the Testing Coordinator.  She briefly served as interim AP at Harbour View Elementary and is excited to be coming back to the Tornado family as AP in February of 2025.
